About Raygirl

Raygirl aka Rahi Rahmat

This is a online portfolio showcase for Raygirl who is also known as Rahi Rahmat.


I graduated with honours from MediaLab Arts at the University of Plymouth in 2004 but have been designing and fully engaged in commercial projects long before finishing my degree.


I live and breathe design; exploiting and experimenting with my skills in every possible way from the untouchable interactive arts to my bare hands. My influences come from the everyday observances and constantly battle in deciding who currently is my favourite designer/artist/architect/writer/musician; appreciating the weird and wonderful as well as the downright sensible. I enjoy liaising with other people and bouncing off ideas in a team as well as thriving on the challenge of working solo against deadlines.


My attention to detail is key to the role I work within, ensuring the work designed for clients is created to a highest possible level. I have successfully delivered projects for Clerical Medical, Bright Grey, BUPA and Friends Provident as well as a number of promotional, marketing and branding projects for Procter & Gamble, Mars, Nestlé, Sony and the BBC.


My vices are laughing through stressful times, eating good food and spontaneous day trips away.
